Deputy Director-General

Prof. Dickson Adomako is a Professor of Nuclear Earth Science. He was born on 15th June 1965 at Akyem Maase in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

Prof. Adomako is a Chief Research Scientist at GAEC and serves as the Deputy Director General of GAEC.

Before he took up the position, he was the Director of the Ghana Space Science and Technology Institute (GSSTI).

He holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Earth Science from the Postgraduate School of Nuclear and Allied Sciences, University of Ghana, a Master of Science in Geophysics, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). 

Prof Adomako has attended several local and international conferences and workshops and has over fifty 50 peer-reviewed publications to his credit.

He has provided consultancy services for several organizations in the natural resources sector, particularly in mining and water management.

Prof. Dickson Adomako is married to Mrs. Lydia Adomako and blessed with three children.
